A new detailed study into the Foundation Stage has found that early years practitioners are strongly in favour of the EYFS framework. The research, which was carried out by the Institute of Education between September 2008 and March 2010, set out to tackle such questions as how the EYFS influences daily practice with children and families, and whether it has helped to offer improvements in care and education.
