If you're interested in the historical side of education, you might enjoy a relatively new blog called Sec Mod. The site bills itself as "a place for people to share their memories and experiences of attending Secondary Modern Schools in Britain from 1944 to the early 1970s" and features a growing collection of first hand accounts. With BBC4 having recently broadcast a series on grammar schools, and the ongoing debate around streaming in schools, some of the material on Sec Mod feels strangely relevant to today.
