There's yet another early years report out today - this one is titled Early Developments: Bridging the Gap Between Evidence and Policy in Early Years Education, and has been published by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR). While the report covers a number of different areas, it's primarily made headlines for its Ofsted is failing to deliver accurate judgements on the standards of care delivered by nurseries and childminders.
