Last October (see previous post) I wrote about the Nutbrown Review, a review from the Department of Education which is looking at education and childcare qualifications in the UK. While the final report is not due until the summer, today has seen the publication of an interim report outlining the progress made so far. A summary of the main talking points is available in this Nursery World article.
Readers may also be interested in a presentation with Supporting Information on the Workforce, which provides a simple breakdown of staff in the early education and childcare sector by gender, ethnicity, workplace, salary and more.
