It looks like the Save Childhood Movement (see this previous post for details) may be gathering momentum. The Movement has designated today as National Children's Day UK, describing it as "a day that is all about the importance of children and how they have special rights and freedoms that help them to grow into happy, healthy adults".
You can read about what events are taking place on the National Children's Day website. Save Childhood were also responsible for the recent Flourish Summit - the talks from this event should be available on the website shortly.
